Luigi Quesada

Passionate about his country and about hospitality, Luigi Quesada has shared his experience, his knowledge, and his enthusiasm for marketing with several establishments in Costa Rica. In addition, he has developed strategic plans for a number of tourism enterprises and has advised them on improving their product. He holds a bachelor's degree in Tourism and a master's degree in Marketing and has also studied in Thailand, France, and Italy.

He began his career as a receptionist but quickly worked his way up to the ranks of general management. Eventually, he became co-owner and commercial director of a major tour operator in Costa Rica. As such, he helped to maximize its sales and ultimately enabled the company to be the first agency in the country obtain the Certification of Tourist Sustainability of Five Leaves.

Luigi has contributed to the development of tourism in his country for more than 25 years. He has promoted Costa Rica at the principal tourist fairs of the country as well as at European trade shows. He has been an ambassador for the companies with which he has collaborated, and has spearheaded independent marketing efforts throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

As an industry member, Luigi has been active in several significant organizations in Costa Rica. Currently, he acts as an independent consultant specializing in the areas of image improvement, product development, specialized customer service, mystery shopper, and tourism marketing.
